What happens during my initial consultation?

This will take around one hour.

We will discuss the issues for which you are seeking help and how you would like things to be different, including your goals and best hopes for how you would like things to be in the future. 
Gathering of general information such as your contact details, any history or conditions that you might feel are relevant. 
Discussion of how the brain works, how we experience emotions in the way that we do and how these can affect us and our habits, and what we can do to change these. Discussions will also include details about what trance is, and how it is a very normal and natural state, and what you can expect from your sessions.
There is no charge for the initial consultation.
Note for smoking and vaping cessation there is no initial consultation, everything is done in one session.
For phobias the initial consultation is done as part of the first session which is charageable. 
If  after the initial consultation you book a session (or sessions), you will also be provided with a relaxation MP3 recording to listen to between your sessions, which can help you relax and reinforce the benefits of hypnotherapy.

Question 2

What happens during my hypnotherapy sessions?

A session lasts around 1 hour.

I will start of by asking what has been good about your week.
We will discuss aspects about how the brain works and how it relates to your experiences.
I will ask some solution focused questions to help you consider and refine your solutions that can help you to move forward in your life. 
You will then be invited to quietly relax where you can enjoy resting in a day-dream-like trance state, where your mind can focus on and further absorb and reflect on the things that have been discussed during the session.

Where are the hypnotherapy sessions held?

The Initial Consultation is normally conducted on-line using Google Meet. Follow up hypnotherapy sessions can either be on-line or face to face at my house in Horsham.  Face to face sessions are available Thursday and Friday, whilst on-line sessions are Tuesday or Wednesday evenings.

How is my data protected?

Question 5

How many sessions will I need?

Accepted Answer

Usually you will need at least eight sessions for general anxiety issues, but this could be more as each client is unique. Fear and Phobia normalisation requires 4 sessions. Smoking and Vaping cessation is one session. The treatment requires the client to engage in the process and desire the change. Every client is different and therefore whilst hypnotherapy can be highly effective, results cannot be guaranteed.

Question 6

How much does it cost?

Accepted Answer

One session is £60 and lasts around one hour or book 6 sessions for £300.  Apart from specific phobias and smoking cessation it is recommended that you book  a minimum of 6 sessions.

For single phobias (where there are no other underlying issues such as general anxiety) 3 sessions are normally required and costs £160.

Smoking and Vaping cessation is up to 2 hours and costs £150, only one session is required.

Note: Whilst Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is very effective, results cannot be guaranteed.
